OUR STORY

A little less hurry.
A little more play.

Leisure Letters is a small, independent puzzle project by Roman Šterba, made for people who enjoy a word game without a race against the clock.

Comfort comes first

We start with big letters, familiar words, and a manageable grid. Our relaxed puzzles only hide words across and down. Hints are there whenever you want them. There are no rankings, streaks, or time penalties.

We design with adults over 45 in mind, but anyone is welcome to play. Readable text and a little breathing room are useful at any age.

A puzzle that follows your pace

There are 30 themes to explore, from a garden to a quiet Sunday. Online puzzles let you change the letter size and add diagonal or backward words. Printable PDFs use the original relaxed grid and include an answer key on a separate page.

Free to enjoy

All 30 original puzzles, their PDFs, and daily play are free. We are preparing Quiet Moments, an optional collection of 60 puzzles in one printable book. You can try its free sample now; the full collection is not on sale yet.

How the puzzles are made

We choose each theme and its word list, then use a repeatable layout generator to place the words in the grid. We check that every listed word is present and that each printed answer key matches its puzzle.
